Lacrosse

Lacrosse is one of the fastest-growing youth sports in Canada — and for good reason. It’s fast, exciting, skill-building, and the perfect combination of coordination, agility, teamwork, and strategy. Players develop essential fundamentals like stick handling, passing, shooting, defensive positioning, and game IQ, all in a fun, energetic, and supportive environment.

2026 marks the inaugural season of our Burlington Raiders Youth Lacrosse Program, and we couldn’t be more excited to launch!


We are proudly welcoming boys and girls ages 5–12, offering recreational levels to support every player — from beginners discovering the sport to experienced athletes looking to elevate their game.

As part of our launch, we’re delivering a professional, structured, and development-focused experience that will set the foundation for years to come. Our program allows players to learn the game properly, grow their skills, and build confidence while having a blast on the field.

U6: $95 plus tax

Game days and times

Below will show the birth years that relate to the specific division. The times below are represent when the games will be played between. All teams will have a rotating schedule within the division time frame. 

  • U6 - 2021 & 2020 | Saturday between 8am - 11am 
  • U8- 2019 & 2018 | Saturday between 8am - 11am 
  • U10- 2016 & 2017 | Saturday between 9am - 12pm
  • U12 - 2015 & 2014 | Saturdays between 12pm - 3pm 

Registration Details

The registration fee for this program will be $95 plus tax( U6 intro to Lacrosse) and $149 plus tax for U8- U12.

Faq

How many players are on a team?

8-10 players per team!

How long is each season? ( spring, summer & fall)

11 weeks long!

How many games and practices will my child participate in per week?

Just once a week! There will be a 20 minute practice followed by a 40 minute game each week.

Where will the games be played?

All games will be on our Outdoor Artificial Turf field at 1179 Northside Rd, Burlington.

Are there amenities at the field?

Yes, there are restrooms in the rink and a full bar and restaurant! Offering weekly specials for all athletes.

What equipment do I need for my child to play Lacrosse?

We will provide a team jersey which will be yours to keep. Since this will be non-contact for all ages and we will be using soft balls, you will only need a lacrosse stick, protective eye wear, a mouthguard, and an athletic supporter/cup is optional. Cleats are recommended (no metal cleats), or athletic runners are also acceptable. No flip flops or sandals.

If my child does not like Lacrosse, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, no. However we can offer a credit to another sport we offer.
