Flag Football

Flag Football is a fast-paced, non-contact version of football that focuses on developing core skills like passing, catching, teamwork, and strategy — all in a fun and safe environment. Over the past decade, it’s become one of the fastest-growing youth sports worldwide, and the momentum continues to build here in Burlington! 

2026 will be the inaugural season of our Burlington NFL Flag Football Season and we could not be more excited! We are proudly serving boys and girls ages 5–16, in both recreational or competitive leagues. Our league has partnered with NFL Flag Football, bringing exciting opportunities and national exposure to our athletes.

Pricing

The registration fee for this program will be $199 plus tax for the early bird, and the price will increase on January 15th to $249 plus tax. 

Price per game = $18.00 a game. 

Team Fees

Early Bird Team Fee (10 players): $1590.00 plus tax.

Price after January 15th, 2026. (10 players): $1750.00 plus tax.

Game days and times

Below will show the birth years that relate to the specific division. The times below are represent when the games will be played between. All teams will have a rotating schedule within the division time frame. 

  • U6 - 2021 & 2020 | Sundays between 8am - 11am 
  • U8 - 2019 & 2018 | Sundays between 8am - 11am 
  • U10 - 2016 & 2017 | Fridays between 5pm - 7pm 
  • U12 - Boys Only 2015 & 2014 | Fridays between 5pm - 7pm 
  • U12 - Girls Only 2015 & 2014 | Saturday between 8am - 11am 
  • U14 - Boys Only 2013 & 2012 | Saturday between 9am - 12pm
  • U14 - Girls Only 2013 & 2012 | Saturdays between 12pm - 3pm

FAQ

Do I have to register online?

Yes! All registrations are through our TeamLink site.

Can I register more than one player at a time?

Absolutely!

Can my child play up an age group or down an age group?

No, unfortunately we recommend that your player plays in their own age group. However exceptions can be made. Please contact Brad or Kristen for further clarification.

Can we put a request in to play with certain players and friends?

Yes! You are able to request up to 3 friends to play with. This is done within our online registration. Friend requests must be mutual/reciprocated to be considered

You are allowed to write down 3 friend requests

Requests are not guaranteed, but we will do our best to accommodate within the fairness policy

How many players can play on a team?

The minimum is 8 and the maximum is 10. 

How long is a season?

11 weeks total. 10 weeks of regular season plus an additional Championship week.  

How many games and practices a week will my child be playing and how long will they be?

All teams will have a mandatory 40 minute game (two 20-minute halves) with a 5-minute half time break. Practices are up to the discretion of the coaches and are not organized by the league.

Where will the games be played and on what type of field?

All games will be on the outdoor artificial turf field located at 1179 Northside Rd, Burlington. 

Are there amenities at the field? What does our facility offer?

Yes, there are restrooms inside the rink as well as a full bar and restaurant. Open Monday - Sunday!

Can we request a certain NFL team name? 

No. Teams are automatically assigned a name by the NFL Flag Program inventory that is provided to us. 

What do I need for my child to play?

Your child will be issued a jersey, shorts and flags which will be theirs to keep. You will need to provide a mouthguard. They can wear cleats (no metal), or runners for footwear.  NO flip flops or sandals. 

If my child does not like Flag Football can I get a refund? 

No, we do not offer refunds.

Can I rent the field and have a party in the bar?

Yes. We offer a discount for a birthday party etc. The field rental will include 10 free kids meals upstairs at the bar.
